The proposed development at Eastport Landing is far too large. The present administration, although now saying they are against the project, quietly worked with the developers for the last two to three years, and apparently never balked at the size. 147 units? Did the Mayor's office not know what Planning and Zoning was doing, or were they in favor of it, until the huge groundswell of citizens against the project? Common sense must prevail, and the size of the project must be scaled back dramatically.
